Dana is our USRA (Undergraduate Student Research Award) student for the summer of 2021. She was awarded a grant in order to join our team and assist with some of the research we have going on at the HBRC. Dana graduated in 2021 from the University of Guelph with her Honours Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in Human Kinetics and minoring in Neuroscience. She is hoping that her time at the HBRC will help her gain skill and insight as she moves into her Master’s of Biomedical Sciences program at the University of Guelph, as well as provide knowledge and skills transferrable to other areas in her life, all while learning about bees in the process!?
