Wissarut is our Ph.D. candidate at School of Environmental Sciences (SES) under the supervision of Dr. Ernesto Guzman. Wissarut came to us from Thailand in the summer of 2021 and is pleased to be here at HBRC for training as a beekeeper. Even as a child, he was completely fascinated with insect pollinators and how they hold the keys to agriculture and the environment. Recently, his research focuses on the responses of different bee genotypes to a variety of stress factors and their expression of health. Wissarut is very proud to be a member of our team. “Even tiny bees are big pollinators”, that’s his motto!
