Jenna works at the HBRC as an apiary research technician. She aids in the care of the HBRC’s hives and assists with the research being conducted. In the fall of 2022, Jenna will be entering her fourth year of studying Environmental Science at the University of Guelph and beginning her newly declared minor in Microbiology. For her Co-op, Jenna is focusing on creating a review covering the current standing of research on the honey bee microbiome. She has always had an appreciation for pollinators but became interested in beekeeping after taking the Apiculture and Honey Bee Biology course at U of G.
