Max is one of our Apiary Research Assistants with the HBRC. He started his undergraduate degree in the sciences in 2019 and hopes to get a master’s in environmental ethics, sustainable agriculture, or some other program he hasn’t thought of yet. In his spare time, you can find him identifying and foraging for wild mushrooms, reading, or riding his mountain bike. When he’s at the HBRC you can find him searching for queens, building solidary bee ‘homes’, and sometimes running away from angry bees.
