Fred is a professor of Mechanical Engineering at Conestoga College. He volunteers one day a week at the HBRC. For years he talked about beekeeping and finally decided to order two nucs and build two hives in the winter of 2021/2022, as well as taking the Apiology 101 courses. In May, he decided two hives was not enough and started three more. He enjoys having his morning coffee with his bees and finds it fascinating to watch them.
