Pia took the HBRC weekend course in 2016 and started off that year with four hives. Pia wanted to learn more about bees and managing hives.
She started volunteering the following year (2017) and has been volunteering on Mondays ever since.
Pia loves working with the bees— she finds there are always situations that fascinate her. She currently has over 50 hives and sells her honey, bees, and hive products as Three Sisters Honey. When Pia is not with the bees she enjoys spending time with her family, reading, skiing, and relaxing at the cottage.
