New on Our Website: HBRC Photo Gallery

We’re excited to announce the launch of a brand-new Photo Gallery page on the Honey Bee Research Centre website! This curated collection offers a closer look into the fascinating world of honey bees, the art of beekeeping, and the research being carried out by our team.

“We are frequently contacted by news media writing stories about honeybees. Often, journalists use online photos that are not always accurate – sometimes even of the wrong species! By having this photo gallery, we will be able to provide journalists with ready access to the correct photos,” says Paul Kelly. “With our new photo gallery, we can provide them with high-quality photos that represent honey bees and beekeeping in our region.”

Visitors can browse high-resolution photos that capture everything from honey bee behaviour to lab activities and fieldwork. Photos for the gallery were contributed by past and present talented employees, students, and volunteers.  Simply click on any photo to view it in full resolution. These images are available for non-profit and educational use only, and should always be credited to HBRC.

If you enjoy the gallery and would like to support our mission, please consider making a donation to HBRC. Every contribution helps us continue vital research and education efforts.
