The Honey Bee Research Centre is pleased to participate in Guelph Bug Day on Sunday, August 24, 2025. As part of the event, we will offer guided tours of our new facility and beeyard.
Guests will have the opportunity to explore the interior of our building and its surrounding grounds, gaining insight into the educational areas, research spaces, and beekeeping practices used to support honey bee health. The tour will also include an outdoor demonstration in the new beeyard where you can learn how we safely work with honey bees. Beehive components will be brought directly to participants in the apiary for an up-close view.
Two tours will be conducted during the day:
11:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.
We look forward to welcoming guests and sharing the work being carried out at the HBRC.
