Shannon Chiong is one of our Student Volunteers at the HBRC. She joined in 2024 to explore her interest in apiculture as a potential career and beekeeping as a future hobby. She is entering her second year at the University of Guelph and is majoring in One Health with an area of emphasis in Disease Complexity and Health, with a minor in Linguistics. She assists our team with lab and preparatory work for various research projects.
