Katherine Stevenson is an Environmental Science student majoring in Environment and Resource Management at the University of Guelph. She first got involved with honeybees through a summer job as a gardener and beekeeper at a retirement home, where she became instantly enthralled with the subject. Currently she is working on her capstone project which explores the impacts of invasive earthworms on local forest ecosystems. Outside of her studies, Katherine enjoys spending time outdoors and crafting .She is passionate about connecting science communication with creative arts, especially through poetry!
