Hear From Our Student Volunteers

“Having the chance to assist at the HBRC as a volunteer has transformed my life. It has provided me with so many rich experiences and opened a lot of doors.”

Kathryn Knowles
Past Volunteer

“Volunteering here for my first summer taught me more about bees and beekeeping than I ever thought I would know, but what made me stay was the people at the HBRC. Everyone at the Honey Bee Research Centre was so kind and passionate about beekeeping, that I just had to come back as a full-time employee!”.

“Volunteering at the HBRC was an amazing experience! Everyone there was so nice and incredible to work with! I would definitely work with them again given the chance.”
