Jessie Mello studies Wildlife Biology and Conservation and she is a student volunteer at the HBRC! She became interested in beekeeping after taking the Apiculture and honey bee biology course at UofG. She is originally from Bermuda, and she has a strong interest in herpetology and entomology. She is eager to continue gaining hands on research and apiculture experience. She loves wildlife, gardening, cooking and volunteering in the community!
